This programme follows three families, where one or more member has acondroplasia.

Gillian, a small mother hoping that she can protect her small 13 year old daughter from some of the problems she faced herself as a teenager. Rebecca, a small young woman embarking on married life and hoping to start a family with Ben, an average height man. And Phil, a small father preparing his small son Paddy for secondary school through tough love.
